Cathal Kelly is currently entering his new role as Subsea Technology Delivery Manager for Shah Deniz subsea project in Caspian Sea with BP. Until Dec 2007 he was the responsible Project Manager for the King Subsea Pumps and the King South project in the Gulf of Mexico, USA. The two Subsea Multiphase Booster Systems were delivered in the 3rd quarter of 2007 and successfully installed and commissioned soon after. They are a world record in regard to water depth and tie-back distance.

Cathal holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Queens University of Belfast, and an ESI Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, School of Business and Public Management. He looks back to more than ten years of subsea experience with various assignments in projects like King, Kings Peak, Dorado, Canyon Express, Nile (all in the US), as well as Magnus and East of Shetland in the UK.
