Prof. Dr. Andrea Luke

Andrea Luke graduated as a Diploma Engineer in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hannover. She specialised in thermodynamics, energy and process technology, heat and mass transfer, as well as multiphase systems.

Following a doctoral degree, she received her postdoctoral lecture qualification from the University of Paderborn. Currently she holds the position as a Head of the Institute of Thermodynamic of the Leibniz University Hannover as a full professor (apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.).

Andrea holds several positions in various thermodynamic related societies, is a member of the IIR Expertise Directory, and an elected Member in the International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer (ICHMT) since 2009.
