Offshore Remote-Wellstream Boosting

Successful Installations and Start-Up of a remote operating installation in the Gulf of Thailand and Offshore Sabah are demonstrating the potential use of Multiphase technology to enhance production as well as recovery rates from unmanned installations.

In the shallow waters unmanned wellhead platforms are used to accommodate necessary wellhead facilities, piping and fluid treatment as well as provides space for equipment to boost production to central processing platforms in several km distance.

The unit consist of a gas engine driven Multiphase Pump including minimum auxiliaries and a control system completely suitable for operation in hazardous area. Beside the fuel gas coming from a trunkline the unit is fully operational without any other external supplies and is capable to operate on single well or multiple wells with a wide range of API-Grades and frequent changes of well performances.

In this application the Multiphase Boosting proves to be a viable option to conventional technology because of its operational advantages and capability to bring dead well back into production due to minimum wellhead pressures.
